Lam Pa Thao Dam is located at Ban Lub Chang-Plai in Kao Ya-Dee sub district, Kaeng Khro district, Chaiyaphum Province Thailand. The small earthen dam is located on the Dong Phaya Yen mountain range barrier of Lam Pa Tao River. The dam consists of two dams with top dam have the storage capacity 44 million cubic meters of water and below the dam, storage capacity 14 million cubic meters of the water for electricity and water distribution to production water supply of the Chaiyaphum Province. The dam is about 35 kilometers away from downtown.

การเดินทางมี 2 เส้นทาง เราใช้เส้นทางจากบ้านท่าหินโงม (ทางแยกเข้ามอหินขาว) บ้านซับสีทองมายังบ้านบ่อทองคำ ตำบล สระโพนทอง อำเภอ เกษตรสมบูรณ์ ซึ่งระยะทางประมาณ 10 ก.ม. ถึงป่าปรงพันปี ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมง ขณะนี้ทาง อบต.บ้านซับสีทองกำลังเริ่มปรับปรุงเส้นทางเพื่อเปิดเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวแห่งใหม่ของชัยภูมิ และ อีกเส้นทางมาจากเขื่อนลำประทาว บ้านท่ามะไฟหวาน อำเภอแก้งคร้อ
Getting have 2 routes, I take the route of Ban Tha Hin Ngom a village (Mor Hin Kao Stonehenge), Ban Sub Si Thong a village to Ban Boh Thong Kham a village in Sra Phon Thong subdistrict, Kaset Sombun District. Which distance of about 10 km for go to the cycad forest thousand years, takes about 2 hours. Currently, the District Administrative Office has starting to improve routes to be a new attraction of Chaiyaphum province. And other route from the Lam Pa Tao Dam, Ban Tha Mafai-Wan a village in Kaeng Khro district Chaiyaphum province Thailand.
