ภายในงาน มีสินค้าสไตล์คาวบอย สินค้า OTOP การออกร้านอาหาร และ เครื่องดื่ม สไตล์คาวบอย ไนท์ ปาร์ตี้ มีการประกวด คาว เกิร์ล และ ลานดนตรีคันทรี่หลากหลายวงมาแสดงให้ชมฟรี ในวันจันทร์ที่ 18 มกราคม 2559 จะมีพิธีเปิดอย่างเป็นทางการโดยนายอำเภอมวกเหล็ก เป็นประธานในการเปิดงาน มวกเหล็ก คาวบอยเฟสติวัล 2016 ซึ่งการจัดงาน มวกเหล็ก คาวบอยเฟสติวัล จัดขึ้นครั้งแรก เมื่อปี พ.ศ 2553 จากกรุงเทพฯ ด้วยระยะทางประมาณ 150 กิโลเมตร ถึงอำเภอมวกเหล็ก จึงมีนักท่องเที่ยวนิยมมาเที่ยวที่นี่ในช่วงวันหยุด ทั้งยังมีสถานที่เที่ยว ที่พัก ร้านอาหารหลากหลายด้วย

อำเภอมวกเหล็กเป็นอำเภอหนึ่งใน 13 อำเภอของจังหวัดสระบุรี ตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันออกของจังหวัดสระบุรี ซึ่งเป็นอำเภอที่ตั้งอยู่สุดเขตแดนของภาคกลาง เชื่อมติดกับอำเภอปากช่อง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ที่ว่าการอำเภอมวกเหล็กตั้งอยู่บริเวณถนนสุขาภิบาล บ้านมวกเหล็ก หมู่ที่ 3 ตำบลมวกเหล็ก อำเภอมวกเหล็ก จังหวัดสระบุรี มีพื้นที่ 684 ตารางกิโลเมตร

ประชากรส่วนใหญ่ของอำเภอมวกเหล็ก จะประกอบอาชีพทำฟาร์มโคนม และภูมิประเทศที่เป็นทุ่งหญ้าและภูเขา ผู้คนจึงชอบแต่งกายด้วยสไตล์คาวบอยในการทำงานในฟาร์ม ซึ่งในงานวันโคนมแห่งชาติประมาณกลางเดือนมกราคมของทุกปี (ปีนี้จัด เริ่มวันที่ 27 มกราคา 2559) จะมีงาน " คาวบอยไนท์" ที่ผู้ร่วมงานจะแต่งกายด้วยชุดคาวบอยหลากหลายสไตล์ และ ทางผู้บริหารอำเภอมวกเหล็กยังได้เชิญชวนข้าราชการ พนักงานรัฐวิสาหกิจ พนักงานองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น รวมทั้งกำนัน ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน ฯลฯ และภาคเอกชน ให้แต่งกายสไตล์คาวบอยในทุกวันพุธ จนปัจจุบันการแต่งกายสไตล์คาวบอย ได้เป็นวัฒนธรรมการแต่งกายที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะถิ่นของชาวอำเภอมวกเหล็กไปแล้ว
Most of the population of Muak Lek District are dairy farming careers, the terrain is a Meadows and mountain. The people are like to wear style cowboy in working on the farm. ประชากรส่วนใหญ่ของอำเภอมวกเหล็กประกอบอาชีพทำฟาร์มโคนม ดังนั้นการเลี้ยงโคนมจึงถือเป็น "อาชีพพระราชทาน" โดย พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯพระบรมราชินีนาถ ได้เสด็จฯประพาสทวีปยุโรป เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2503 ณ. ประเทศเดนมาร์ค ซึ่งทรงสนพระราชหฤทัยในกิจการฟาร์มโคนมของชาวเดนมาร์คเป็นอย่างมาก หลังจากเสด็จฯนิวัติประเทศไทย รัฐบาลเดนมาร์ค และ สมาคมเกษตรกรเดนมาร์คได้ร่วมกันน้อมเกล้าฯ ถวายโครงการส่งเสริมการเลี้ยงโคนมเป็นของขวัญแด่ล้นเกล้าทั้งสองพระองค์ จึงได้มีการตกลงทำสัญญาให้ความช่วยเหลือทางวิชาการ และ เศรษฐกิจระหว่างรัฐบาลไทยกับรัฐบาลเดนมาร์คดำเนินการจัดตั้งฟาร์มโคนมชื่อว่า "ฟาร์มโคนมไทย-เดนมาร์ค" และ ศูนย์ฝึกอบรมการเลี้ยงโคนมชื่อว่า "ศูนย์ฝึกอบรมการเลี้ยงโคนมไทย-เดนมาร์ค" ที่อำเภอมวกเหล็ก จังหวัดสระบุรี ซึ่งพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และ สมเด็จพระเจ้าเฟรเดอริคที่ 9 แห่งประเทศเดนมาร์ค ได้เสด็จพระราชดำเนินประกอบพิธีเปิดฟาร์มโคนม ละศูนย์อบรมการเลี้ยงโคนมไทย-เดนมาร์ค เมื่อวันที่ 16 มกราคม 2505 ในปัจจุบันในพื้นที่อำเภอมวกเหล็ก มีโคนมทั้งสิ้น จำนวน 37,925 ตัว ผลิตน้ำนมดิบได้วันละประมาณ 300 ตัน เดือนละประมาณ 9,000 ตัน / ที่นี่มวกเหล็ก
