พระธาตุฉิมพลีพระเศรษฐีนวโกฏิ เป็นอาคารสี่เหลี่ยมจัตุรัส มีลักษณะคล้ายผ้ายันต์ ที่ผนังอาคารเต็มไปด้วยอักขระพิเศษ ขนาดฐานยาวด้านละ 18 เมตร ความสูงจากฐานถึงยอดพระธาตุ 27 เมตร มีพระพุทธรูปประจำอยู่ 4 ทิศ มีจำนวน 3 ชั้น ด้านชั้นบนสุดเป็นที่ประดิษฐานของ พระบรมสารีริกธาตุ

เทพเทวดาที่ยืนอยู่ตรงด้านหน้าทางเข้าไปยังพระธาตุ ได้แก่ พระพรหม ท้าวเวสสุวรรณ และท้าววิรุฬหก งานปูนปั้นผนังด้านนอก เป็นเทพบันเทิง เทพทั้ง 8 เล่นเครื่องดนตรีไทยทั้ง ดีด สี ตี เป่า อยู่ระหว่างบานหน้าต่าง ส่วนซุ้มกรอบหน้าต่างจะมีงานปูนปั้นทั้งยักษ์และศาสตราวุธต่างๆ

จุดเริ่มต้นของการสร้างพระธาตุองค์นี้ เกิดจากแรงศรัทธาของ พระวัชรวิชญ์ สิริปัญโญ อดีตปลัดอำเภอบ้านลาด ที่ได้เห็นผ้ายันต์ฉิมพลีของวัดท่าไชยศิริ อ. บ้านลาด แล้วประทับใจภาพวิมานสวรรค์ที่เขียนบนยันต์ผืนนั้นมาก จนต้องการจะสร้าง "วิหารแห่งสรวงสวรรค์" ให้เกิดขึ้นจริงบนผืนแผ่นดิน จึงได้มาปรึกษาเจ้าอาวาสวัดข่อย ซึ่งท่านยินดี พร้อมทั้งเชิญผู้มีจิตศรัทธาให้มาร่วมสร้าง "วิมานแห่งสรวงสวรรค์" แห่งนี้ด้วย ใช้เวลาสร้างทั้งหมด 1 ปี 3 เดือน 18 วัน งบประมาณทั้งหมด 24 ล้านบาท
The beginning of the creation of this relics, because of faith from Phra Wacharavith Siripanyayo, Ban Lat former bailiff seeing the Chim-Plee Talisman cloth of Wat Tha-Chaisiri in Ban Lat district, and impressive visual with paradise castles written on that Talisman cloth, and would like to build "Chapel of Heaven" to happen on the land. The abbot Wat Khoi with consulted and welcomed to build and invite the faithful to come to join to build this "Chapel of Heaven". It takes to build a total of 1 year 3 months 18 days, total budget of 24 million Baht.
ภายในพระธาตุมีพระประธาน 3 องค์ พระพุทธเศรษฐีนวโกฏิ ด้านซ้าย, พระพุทธมิ่งมงคล ตรงกลาง เป็นพระพุทธรูปปางสมาธิเนื้อเงินทั้งองค์ และ พระสิวลีมหาลาภร่มเย็น ทางด้านขวา ผนังด้านในของอาคารนี้ทำด้วยไม้สัก ตกแต่งด้วยรูปยันต์พระพรหม 4 หน้า ลวดลายสีทอง จิตรกรรมฝาผนังเป็นลายรดน้ำเกี่ยวกับพระพุทธประวัติ บานประตู หน้าต่าง แกะสลักอย่างสวยงาม วิจิตร
Inside the Relics are 3 principal Buddha Statues, Phra Setthi Nawa-Koti in left, Phra Phuttha Ming Mongkol in the middle is the silver all the body and Phra Sivali Maha-Lap Rom-Yen in right. The inner wall of the building is made of teak wood decorated with Talisman Brahma four pages, with patterned gold. The mural is painting about history Buddha. Beautifully carved shutters, Fine.
